For this week's video and blog, I’ve decided to share with you all my top five picks from online beauty retailer; Beauty Pie. Although actually there are 8 products, so you can’t ever say I don’t treat you guys!
For those of you that don't know, Beauty Pie is a UK beauty product company – now also available in the US – who cut out the middleman so you can get amazing quality products for the fraction of the cost by paying a membership subscription every month. I've been a member now for over a year, which means I’m at the point whereby I’ve reduced my subscription right down to the best buys.
Although I’m not a big beauty junkie, being in my late 40's I'm now of an age now where I am trying to prevent damage to my skin where possible, to maintain what I’ve been blessed with. The no-nonsense nature and convenience of these products are perfect for me and my low maintenance lifestyle.
Beauty products are not something I want to spend a fortune on, and with so many options on the market, it’s difficult to know where to start. Previously I had read that the price point of products often doesn’t make a difference to their quality, however, if you have nice products – you are more likely to use them and that's why they work. With this in mind, Beauty Pie offers the perfect compromise without breaking the bank.
With a great smell to all of their products, and such beautiful branding, its a no brainer for my regime!
Sustain the good work and producing in the crowd!
Thanks Alex 🙂
Which shade are you in tinted moisturiser? I got light and I am light/medium in most but this one oxidised into orange in seconds on me ☹
I have medium. I don’t find it orangey on my skin but it will depend on your tone. I also only use a very small amount and after moisturiser so it’s very blended in!
I wonder if you might be unlucky and it reacts with your skin. I had the same effect from the Chanel Vitalumiere foundation. 😒
Thanks for your recommendations… Be interested to see how you use them…
I’ve signed up using your code. Without been too offensive.. What age bracket are you… Without revealing too much… Youve got such glowing skin
Thanks for your comment. Perhaps I’ll look at doing more of a tutorial in the future.
So lovely of you to say – I’m 49.
Please do free to check out the other videos on my channel!
@Lizzie Edwards 49! No way… I would have said 42ish..you’re obviously doing something right. Thanks for being so transparent. Have already watched all your videos..❤️
@Gillian Budgets How lovely of you, thank you! We’ll have another video live tomorrow – be sure to check it out 🙂
@Lizzie Edwards WOW you look incredible.
Just found your video. I have been a BP member for about 18 months and love the retinol range too (repurchased). I didn’t like the vit C capsules which I know seems at odds with most others but I enjoy the Daily Defence serum (on my second bottle of this). I’m thinking of trying the Vit C moisturiser next as that gets good reviews. Sadly the palest shade of the tinted moisturiser was still too dark and orange for my skin, wish they’d bring out some more shades with a pale cool tone as I like the formula and prefer a lighter base to a full foundation. X
Oooh i think il try the daily defense serum next! Thanks for the tip 🙂
What didnt you like about the vitamin C caps?
Samantha hi, unfortunately they broke me out. Weirdly enough in the last week I started using the vitamin C moisturiser and having recently had clear skin fro ages I’ve broken out again. Of course it could be stress with everything that’s currently going on so I am going to continue using it for now. I have heard stronger doses of vitamin C can break some people out, not sure why. The daily defence serum is fine and I used to use medik8 c-tetra without issue.
Michelle J Thanks for you reply I’m glad I held off on the purchase. I hope you’re staying safe💖
Samantha Hi. I’m sorry for a late response. There isn’t really anything I don’t like about the vit c capsules. I use them every morning. What have you decided to buy?
I was on the fence with Beauty Pie and your video sold me. Great review! Just subscribed to your channel and I look forward to seeing more videos.
Thank you!! 🙂 I’m so glad you found the information useful. x
I thought this was really helpful. We’re in the same age range and the same level of low-key.
Thanks Carrie 🙂
I’m all about low key also. ☺️
Just started using beauty and the retinol range really love the texture and great results . And the price is amazing .
Great Video as well , explained the products and you kept it real xx
Thanks, Maggie! I’m glad you liked it 🙂
❤️❤️❤️
Thanks 🙂
It’s interesting how you recommend to use the Vitamin C during the AM which I have always done with previous brands. But I’m confused- when I made the purchase & spoke to a customer respresentative she suggested I use it in the PM 2/3 times a week. How have you been using the Vitamin C? Thank you for your recommendations!
Hi Sunita. I always use it in the Am, and it says that on the jar. I use the Retinol range in the evening. I am no expert though so I only know what I do 🙂
yaaas ✨✨✨
Thanks!
Thank you for this content. Can you share a link to the top you are wearing
Thank you. It is SO soft and sustainable too. It’s by DAI, a small British brand. https://daiwear.com/products/eco-layer-on-top-ivory?variant=29256738078784

I’ve just joined so I am watching product reviews, this has to be my favourite, honest review so far.
Thank you 🙏🏼 I’m glad it was useful.
I was a member until recently, when pointed out the pricing differences between UK/US sites $59/£59 yearly membership is not the same, I thought they are a UK based company? I contacted them to voice this view pointing out UK based companies like Revolution Beauty & Inkey List roughly charge the consumer the same in both countries. Their reply was they do not take currency conversion into consideration? Most of their product is manufactured in Europe! Oh well. Overcharged in the UK as usual. Shame.
