  12. Please. I ended up in horrible debt because of “spoiling” myself with luxury items I couldn’t afford. I told myself the designer bags were an investment, that I deserved the beautiful jewellery. But having to eventually face up to the financial mess I’d got myself in was no joke.
    So if you can afford the Louis and the Cartier, go for it – why not? But only if you’re sure you can pay the bill.

  17. I walked into a Louis Vuitton store once after going to the gym to buy my then fiancĂ© a nice wallet to replace his old Louis Vuitton wallet as a wedding gift. I asked to see wallets and the guy at the counter showed me card clips . I said ‘ No wallets’, then he showed me a tiny coin holder. Ugh, “No, a real wallet please”. Then he made me stand there and wait forever. After I paid he apologized for the wait, but still, I felt judged because I was wearing my gym clothes, never mind the fact that I was a member of a ‘luxury gym’ at the time. Anyway, I’ve had a deterrence to Louis Vuitton ever since. I thought they were supposed to make you feel good about yourself, not treat you like a peasant if you walk in not wearing the right clothes.

  18. Regarding Dyson Air Wrap – I don’t recommend getting the one she is showing in the video. It doesn’t hold the curls whatsoever. I recently got the new one in a beautiful blue color and that one is 10000 times better.
