    1. I’m in California & live in flip flops all year. I have to have a pair with arch supports like Rainbow. Or even Birkenstocks. Those flat Steve Madden types will kill my feet after a few hours, it’s like walking on the ground.

    2. @Flor Pineiro I’d call those flip flops too. Any split toe sandal is a flip flop in my mind. But I get people are probably only referring to the inexpensive plastic ones.

  1. Not sure how “trendy” this actually is, but I prefer the Sperry duck boots over regular rain boots because I feel like those can also be worn rain or shine and they’re more stylish than galoshes.

    1. Please wear what you want. Don’t follow fashion trends. They are just there to make you spend your money. I’ll tell you what’s in. A woman walking with confidence, loving everything she has on. No matter what I don’t care if you are wearing shoes from the ’90s. If you walk with confidence people are going to tell you you look good.
Confidence is key and everything. In everything you do. That fake it till you make it, words of wisdom. Always have a smile. 😏

  2. I will forever wear flip flops
Yes I know they are bad for you feet but they are comfortable for me in summer. I have no arch as it is and I can walk comfortably in flip flops all

  3. Sam edelman are not true to size in so many shoes. I ordered- espadrilles, sandals and pumps each went back because they were a size too big.

  4. I have bad feet so I have to stick with certain brands. That being said, it makes me buy more classic shoes. I don’t think I’m a trendy person and I’m fine with it.

    1. I’m with you. Some of those sandals might be trendy, but they offer no support. I’d rather be comfortable and treat my feet well than be trendy. Our feet carry us all day, so treat them well.

    1. I’ve had nothing but bad luck with every Steve Madden shoe with a heel. They are always super uncomfortable to me. I don’t even consider the brand anymore.

  5. You will have to pry my ballet flats off my cold, dead body! 😂 😹 I am in my late 40’s and have worn them since I was a teenager. Why change now? 😉

    1. Was literally going to say the same thing. Women have been wearing shoes that shape since at least the 1800’s, so I don’t see them ever going out of style. Best way to spend my money imo.

    2. Yes in me late 70’s still wearing them. I do dress younger then most 70 plus woman. So for me they are in style. If not I don’t care I will wear anyway. Very comfortable, most important.

    1. Me being a shorty hell no. I will never get rid of those. Let me tell you I wear a pair of boots that are a wedge. I can’t walk out of the house with people telling me Oh my God where’d you get your boots.
You know these fashion people project other fashions to help companies make money. I’ve constantly always been told my God I love the way you look. I don’t dress by fashion books. I just wear what I love. And walk with my head held hot cuz I look cute. Whether you think it’s in fashion or not.

  6. I agree with everything! I even have most of the “in” shoes you mentioned. I will hold onto my ballet flats because I know they will come back but I have stored them away for now.

  7. I love pointy toe shoes but sometimes they are not comfortable. Ballet flats are comfortable. Flip flops are for the beach/pool. I think we should wear what makes us comfortable and happy♥️

  8. Oh finally the dad sneakers, I never liked them 😅 I ordered the white Sam Edelman sandals and loafers from your recommendation love them 🥰 I love those Steve Madden sandals oh I need them 😍

  9. I just received a pair of Steve Madden sandals that I “pre-ordered” w months ago, the studs were super misaligned…they offered me 25% discount to get them fixed myself -.- the studs would’ve left a hole in the straps. So now I have to wait another month while the next set of preorders come in hoping the replacement pair isn’t defective too. -.-
