  1. Before I ever go Amazon shopping, I shop at our local clothing stores. Many times the clothing I see on Amazon I find them at my local stores. I want to support my local stores because of the lockdown we have had to endure. Love the leather shirt, too!

  2. Slip dresses are very unforgiving, unless you layer with a sweater on top. Flat chest and/or pot belly will be so much on show… I will give those a pass….

  3. Leonie, these are great basics. I generally don’t buy clothing from Amazon. I do buy books, gadgets, food etc. I try as much as possible to buy from local retailers but sometimes Amazon has hard to find items. Important tip-check out prices before buying on Amazon, some retailers overcharge big time. Still love me some leopard print.

  4. I am giving up Amazon.
I don’t agree with or like Jeff Bezos and don’t want to make him any richer.
So when I watch a video like this, I look for something with the same lines

    1. Exactly. Avoiding like the plague. They have too much control and have changed the retail landscape. Yes they do help some small businesses and you tubers but I am now focusing on staying local as much as possible. Not always easy 😉🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  5. You are looking gorgeous today!!! Interesting info on the hydrangeas! I am embarassed to admit it but yes I do shop Amazon.. I agree on the tie dye -toned down – I do like it. The faux leather and bouquet? sweaters I like as well. I have several dresses very similar to the one you showed. (Yes bought on Amazon and WISH..🤦) much love to ALL💛✨

  6. Loved your “apology” re animal print. Chuckled thro’out the video.
Absolutely adore fresh flowers and always have in my home 7 days a week.
Fantastic summer clothing look forward to purchasing new pieces. As our summers are so long hot and humid can never have enough summer clothing.
    Thank u Leonie excellent video

  7. Are these items that you have ordered and received? I find that it’s really hard to tell the quality and sizing of things on Amazon. And I don’t think you can trust the reviews. Also, most of their stuff is made of synthetic fabrics, which I try to avoid. I rarely buy things on Amazon, but if it’s a good recommendation from someone who has actually bought the item, I would consider it.

    1. That makes a lot of sense Krista! I haven’t bought these items but I do intend on buying the sandals so I’ll report back on them. Unfortunately, because I live in New Zealand the delivery cost is usually three times the cost of the item and it takes weeks and weeks to arrive! I usually read the reviews though and so far I haven’t been let down.
