  1. Thank you for these tips Shea! I am so bad with styling my hair, because it’s curly, so I don’t style it much…love these tips for when I straighten it, especially the one to lift the hair on the top of my head, mine is always flat! 😅 Loved this video so helpful, saved it, also sharing it on my Instagram! ❤ Also, ordered the magic spray! 🙌❤

  2. THANK YOU so much for making this video!!
I have really been struggling with what products to use and I’m so excited to get my bottle of in common spray in!!!!

  3. ❤️❤️❤️I’m soooo glad I don’t have long hair. Too much maintenance! 🤪 I love my long bob and with 3 kids I’m not wasting any time. 😁💕 Very good tips though if I did have long hair, Shea! 👌🏻

  4. Love most of these tips but yikes on dryer sheets on your hair! Those things are toxic imo. My mom used them for a while and has had health issues ever since and her doctors believe it came from those sheets.

  5. Funny all the things you stated here I’ve been doing for years lol. The only thing I don’t usually do is blow dry my all the time. I perferred air dry. One thing I didn’t know is about the statics thanks for the infor.

  6. I will certainly try some of these. I have dryer, curly hair, so some of these are the opposite of what I would do- hair dryer ALWAYS makes it look worse. The only time it looks smooth after a blow dry is when I have a Brazilian Blowout. 😂

  7. Yay 🙏🏼 I already do all these! 👏🏻 The double cleanse, completely removes sebum. I also do reverse wash, put mask or conditioner on ends first as soon as I get in the shower. So it sits there as long as possible. Dryer sheets are also good for cleaning baseboards! Thanks Shea!

  8. Shea, for years I struggled with straightening my long thick hair with a flat iron but I watched one of your videos during lock down on how you do it differently than everyone else and I swear it’s the only way I straighten my hair now and I’m done in practically no time at all! 🙌 Will you please do a video on how you curl your hair? Thank you! ❤️

  9. I actually do most of this. I was wondering if when you use the curling iron to bump up by your scalp to give volume if it would look better to flip the hair the other way? I guess this would benefit someone who wears their part more to the side and not down the middle like you. I can’t try b/c my hair is very short atm. I have used the crimp wand and yes it does add volume! Key to that is only do it once and as close to the scalp as possible. No further than that, meaning don’t do another crimp further down the hair. Another tip that I have been doing for years is use an old t-shirt to dry your hair instead of the towel. Thank you for the tips!

  10. I employ most of these tips, I learned most from my cosmetologist friend years ago 😊and I’ve never had split ends since I started using salon brand shampoos and conditioners!

  11. I double wash my hair once a week after I’ve been out in my yard doing the mowing and any gardening, lucky I only need to wash my hair once a week anyway and it really does make a difference to when I’m only washing it once during the winter months when I’m not outside as much. You can always put one of your Good conditioners mixed with some water in a spray bottle to give her hair a tangle free look and works as a leave in conditioner, my hair stylist told me that years ago, especially if you have little kiddos with curly hair #nomoretears it works so well. Great video as always Shea. ❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺

  12. I think in Europe, or at least this part where I live, it’s almost mandatory to double wash hair. Everyone does it. Like there’s no option to wash it once 😊

  13. I actually just stumbled across double washing myself. Need to use a medicated shampoo, but I knew that it wasn’t going to clean product out of my hair so I used a cleansing shampoo first, then the medicated shampoo. My hair lasted an extra day!

  14. One game changing tip is to ‘squish to condish’. Before rinsing out your conditioner, gently pump and squish it with water deeper into your hair. Curly girls do this but it works great to hydrate straight hair too! I liken it to rubbing in your lotion … It works better when you work it into your skin than simply smoothing it on top and leaving it there 🙂. Thanks Shea! I always enjoy your videos!
