  1. I will absolutely not wake up at 530 on my weekend 😂 3 kids, 5 days of travel soccer, 5 days a week as a registered nurse fighting covid. I Absolutely am sleeping in on the weekend till 9 am❤️

  2. I needed this! Thank you! I just read an article, written by a doctor, saying that you don’t have to eat breakfast if you’re not hungry. He said to listen to your body and eat when you’re hungry. I agree 💯 with eating the whole egg. I ended up in the hospital for a month with a severe Vitamin B12 deficiency, paralyzed from my thighs to my toes, memory loss, brain fog, etc…and had to learn how to walk again and recall words with speech therapy. They gave me eggs every morning with the yolk.

  3. I love looking at my phone in the morning too. It doesn’t cause me stress. I’m learning French on Duolingo and I will do a lesson while in bed. I feel accomplished and I haven’t even gotten out of bed. 😁

    Looking at my phone first thing in the morning and attending to missed messages is how I get my productive start. Gets the lagging tasks behind and off my plate so I can enjoy the rest of my day 😊

  5. I am trying a simple hack, much like your number 9. (Don’t put it down, put it away.) It takes practice but really helps with clutter and keeping surface areas clear. 😊

  6. You are SO right about just having to get adjusted to drinking your coffee black. Once you get used to it, cream and sugar don’t taste good in it anymore. I agree … takes about a month. We love your videos!

  7. I’ve been drinking black coffee for years. I’ve become a coffee snob. If the coffee isn’t strong, it’s like drinking dirty water. My favorite coffee is cafe Bustelo
    I also intermittent fast, my meal is usually fro 10 to 12. Love your videos!

  8. I always drink black coffee every morning! And I used to be a heavy sugar and cream in my coffee type, I weaned myself off by slowly reducing the sugar and the cream until one day I didn’t feel like I needed it at all. I used to hate black coffee but the other thing is making sure that you have a good roast because if you don’t have a good roast then that definitely ruins it.

  9. I have one that helps me with daunting projects. Like cleaning the garage or sorting laundry fir a big family or going through things given to you in boxes, like when a relative dies. Don’t go into a room without doing something to make it better. I have boxes of things from my parents, they both have passed on. The boxes are in my laundry room. Every time I go in to that room you grab a handful and process it. Same as I redo my garage. At the end of a week, it is noticeable better and less depressing. At the end of a month it might be small enough to just finish it. I do this in every room. I like to think everything looks better by bedtime. I also do 10 min tidy before bed. So I sneak in an extra 15-20 min through the day with only a few min at a time.

  10. That part about the news is completely true. Months ago I stopped reading/watching the news and I’m happier, I’m not joking. Living in a bubble makes you happier. That’s true.

    Do what she said and just pick one or two days for that! It works

  11. I agree with listening to your body. I’m on a health journey and I’ve lost so much weight by just listening to my body. Most of the time no breakfast but if I’m hungry in the morning every now and again I’ll eat breakfast… your body (not taste buds) knows what it needs

  12. First thing in the morning, I like to read the news. Before technology I listened to the news. I have always liked an hour and half to get myself ready for the day, even when I was working. In the evening I use my iPad in bed, as I’m learning Russian.

  14. Your “reduce your news intake” one is REAL. I just implemented this recently and I’m telling you… I’m more patient, more engaged in my life, happier, more at peace, etc. ♥️

Totally agree with these tips Shea, I’ve never eaten breakfast first thing in the morning, my first meal is around lunch time, if I do eat something earlier than normal if we’re going out to have brunch, it makes me feel sluggish for the rest of the day, my screen time is in the morning while I’m having my morning coffee and watching the likes of You here on YouTube, making the bed as soon as you get out of it also sets your day off to a good start. Tidying and putting things away as you use them is such a time saver also, makes life so much easier. I don’t know how some people can sleep in till mid morning, for me that’s half the day wasted, we get up at the same time every day even on weekends, we spend most of our life in bed anyway so I don’t get why people want to stay there longer.
